Ramsgate are delighted to announce the signing of exciting forward player Gil Carvalho from Ashford. Gil returns to The Rams after a spell at the club in 2019. He has also counts Haywards Heath and Hastings amongst his former clubs.
Gil featured in 16 matches for Ashford this season scoring two goals which included a 97th minute in their last home game against Burgess Hill.
On sealing the signing manager Steve Lovell said ” I’m delighted to welcome Gil to the club, we have been looking for another wide player and when I was made aware he could be available we were keen to get the deal done. He is a player with a lot of pace, he can play in a few positions and he has a winning mentality. We had a a good chat with him this week and he will fit in with our tight knit group off the pitch and add a lot on the pitch”
Gil will be available for selection for tomorrows away game against Three Bridges 2pm kick off.
