Littlehampton 2-0 Ramsgate
Ramsgate suffered their first league away defeat against Littlehampton but remain at the top of the Isthmian South East.
The match started in a scrappy fashion with frequent fouls by both teams effecting the rhythm of the game but it was Littlehampton who threatened first as Pattenden raced through one on one with Bexon but the keeper did well and made the save.
Pattenden broke through again on 20 minutes but this time it was skipper Mcintyre who managed to make a tackle and deny him.
43rd minute and Fender took aim but just missed the Ramsgate goal and the visitors were happy to get to the break level.
Half time and Tj who was struggling with an ankle injury was replaced by Osinfolarin but this didn’t stop the home side having the better of possession as they found themselves in some decent positions but without being able to breakthrough.
On the hour mark Ajayi weaved past a couple of players and got a shot away but it was blocked by the Littlehampton defence and then Gaskin had a chance for the home side but Bexon made a good low save.
Joe Benn found himself in space 30 yards out on 72 minutes and unleashed an unstoppable shot past Bexon to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
The lead was doubled soon after as the dangerous Pattenden got down the right and crossed for Jarvis who made no mistake to seal the victory 2-0 to Littlehampton.
