Local hero Tijan Jadama has committed his future to promotion chasing Rams by signing a contract.
TJ is a very popular figure at the WW Martin Community Stadium and feels that the club’s desire for progression match his own ambitions to play at a higher level
Jadama made his first team debut at just 16 and spent many years previously playing East Kent Youth League Football for the club.
“I have been at this club for a long time now and I’ve always wanted to win the league at my boyhood club. Hopefully we can win the league this year, that is what we’re aiming for and that’s why I want to stay here.” Said Jadama
“I want to move forward personally and play higher, and I want to do that with Ramsgate FC by going up with The Rams and then by being successful in the league above.”
The Rams have enjoyed a strong start in the Isthmian South East Division with a 0-0 draw away at fellow promotion hopefuls Sittingbourne the only game the only game they have failed to take three points from.
“When you see the players Steve and Mark brought in and the players we had already it is clear we are looking to push on.
“We have had a good start. A couple of games have been 50/50 and while we have not been at our best we have still won. Those are the games you need to grind out if you want to get promoted and we have done that.
“We are top of the league at the moment and hopefully we can stay there.”
TJ has worked in local Schools and community clubs and will now run the clubs Monday night academy along with his Football IQ partners as well as fellow squad member and this month’s penalty saving hero Lee Hook.
Lovell’s league leaders travel to fourth placed VCD on Saturday in one of the Kent’s standout weekend matches.
