Top of the table Ramsgate travel to Gay Dawn Farm to take on Corinthian FC as we look to extend our unbeaten run to ten games and keep the gap at the top of the league.
We come into the game on the back of an impressive 4-3 home victory in the Kent Senior Cup against National League South side Tonbridge Angels on Tuesday. Rowland 2, Carvalho and Riley-Snow with the goals for The Rams.
The game saw Ben Fitchett return from injury for his first game since the 4th of February and Lee Prescott returned from suspension.
Manager Jamie Coyle said about the game ” I was delighted to get through to the next round of the cup, we made seven changes and have come out on top against a near full strength Tonbridge side who are going well in the National League South. It was good to see Ben Fitchett make his comeback from injury and for Prescott to play his first game in a month following suspension and I thought he was excellent”
“The only negative was that Callum Emptage turned his ankle so will likely be missing for a couple of weeks”
In other team news Tom Carlse will be fit to return following concussion but Blaise Riley-Snow picked up a knock against Tonbridge and will be considered a doubt.
Our opponents Corinthian currently sit bottom of the table with four wins from their 31 games so far this season and on Tuesday they succumbed to a 2-0 home defeat against Three Bridges.
They will be hoping top scorer on eleven goals Oscar Housego can add to his tally.
The teams last met way back in October 2022 as a Lee Prescott stunner and an Ashley Miller penalty ensured Rams earned a 2-0 home victory.
Kick Off is at 3pm
