Local Heroes
Everyone loves a local hero – and at Ramsgate FC we’re no exception. From TJ Jadama, to Joe Taylor, to Alfie Paxman, to Billy Munday – our first team has local heroes in abundance. What we’re really interested in, however, is where the next local heroes are going to come from – and what we’re doing to help create the pathways for that to happen.
First team coach Sean Hill oversees all of our Kent Youth team players as well as managing our Under 14’s team. This gives us a direct link between the youth section and the first team.

A number of our under 16’s, 18’s and academy players, as well as from last season’s Under 23’s team, are currently playing for Ramsgate Athletic – and with Mark’s guidance they are looking to nurture and grow this moving forward.
It’s these measures that are helping us to create more and more pathways to the first team for our youngsters. Under 16’s Bailey Streatfield and Oliver Jackson were in the first team squad for our huge FA Cup tie away at Brackley Town. Our next local heroes are, without a doubt, amongst us – and they could be closer to home than you think…
