Ramsgate 3-3 Faversham Town
It was top vs bottom at Southwood on Wednesday evening as Ramsgate welcomed a much changed Faversham Town.
The Rams were in the ascendency straight from the off and took the lead on seven minutes with TJ Jadama heading home from a corner.
Jadama was in on goal just four minutes later but shot straight at Tonkin when well placed.
On 20 minutes Faversham had their first meaningful attack as right back Ademiluyi shot with power but Bexon was equal to it and they had another effort shortly after as Sithole flashed a shot acoss goal but out of play.
Rams had their second off the afternoon on 40 minutes as Carvalho outpaced Shaw and delivered the perfect ball for Miller to slot home and endure the home side headed into the break with a two goal advantage.
Into the second half and Ramsgate went 3-0 up. Paxman exchanged passes with Liburd and then wonderfully lobbed the ball over the Faversham stopper and into the back of the net.
Three minutes later and Faversham were back in it, Sithole firing a rasping shot past Bexon to make it 3-1.
On 67 minutes it was 3-2 as Faversham went direct and the ball found Codd who made no mistake.
Ramsgate were under serious pressure now with wave after wave of Faversham attacks that were being desperately repelled but disaster struck on 90 minutes as Faversham won a free kick on the edge of the area and Kieron Campbell curled the ball home into the top corner to salvage a remarkable 3-3 draw.
