Kane Rowland returns adding to Rams local contingent
Kane joins fellow local players TJ, Josh Bexon, Jack Paxman, Ash Miller, Sammi Takaloo, coach Lee Hook and a number of talented u18’s.
As fans will already know, Kane is a hard working centre forward who is effective in both boxes, having been utilised as a centre back by former club Sittingbourne at times where he was skipper last season.
Kane had a number of clubs looking to sign him but chose The Rams due to their ambition. Kane stated: ” I’ve rejoined because I’d love to win promotion with my local club.” When asked about the move Kane continued that “having a local core in the squad helps strengthen that bond between players and supporters, many of whom will have watched us since we were wearing the red of Ramsgate in the youth teams.”
On being asked about targets for the season Kane said “it’s simply to score as many goals as possible and do whatever is needed to help the club achieve its goal of promotion.”
The team are away to Littlehampton in the FA trophy on Saturday and our next home match is against Lancing on Sat 17th September at 3pm.
